(More customer reviews)There is too much fluff in this book. I was looking for a book with plans and ideas for building differentstyle doors. Instead what I go were chapters on setting up a woodworking shop, how lumber reacts to moisture and how I should select llumber, how to use a jointer and how to make different kinds of joints- all of which I am already familiar with. The final fifty pages or so were plans for a few doors plus a gallery of photos of different doors. Too many woodworking books do this. Walter Plaut

A guide for amateur woodworkers, showing how to design and build doors and entryways, this book describes workshop layout, safety requirements and material selection. Ordinary hand and power tools are required to make these doors, which include screen, interior, workshop and barn doors.
