The author's best suggestion is to measure one's life according to God's standards rather than measuring oneself with friends, co-workers and those we don't really know. The various decisions she mentions focus on actively looking at life rather than just letting circumstances determine our responses and actions. I found the book helpful, but not something that significantly changed my life or thinking.
