(More customer reviews)I picked up Planaphobic to begin writing our Haunted Attraction Business Plan. Aside from school, this was the first real Business Plan I've written and this book was extremely useful! Planaphobic is written like a traditional business plan, tailored to the specific haunted house business. The author also provides insights, advise as well as industry specific needs. This book is highly recommended for both beginners as well as seasoned haunted house operators, especially if you plan to transition from amateur to professional.

A breakthrough for the "Hauntrepreneur"! Many books and software programs exist today that aid in business plan creation. None illustrate the specialized content that a niche industry such as Halloween entertainment must provide. "Planaphobic" does that. . .and much more. In step-by-step fashion, each of the fifteen sections in a traditional plan are dissected. One plan section per chapter is explained in a straight forward manner that anyone can understand. Highlighted by a sample business plan that allows you to analyze the necessary content, you'll quickly cut through the mystique and begin to craft an exciting plan that any lender, partner, or investor wants to read. Whether you're just starting a show or expanding an existing one, "Planaphobic" will help you analyze the results. Soon, you'll shout "Egad! I've created a monster plan!" (Textbook includes a Glossary that defines technical terms and Resource Directory) PLANAPHOBIC WORKS: "I am a home haunter who throws elaborate parties every year and have made the front page of our local paper. Hopefully, I can overcome my biggest [going commercial] anxieties which are location and funding. [Planaphobic] has helped me to understand more about the needs that I will have to address in my planning stages and scale down my dream event's size to a more manageable first attempt. Creativity is not a problem, as I assume others who buy your book would agree. I will be checking the C.S.U. website frequently and [look] forward to all you can offer. Thanks!
